Rowanbank Environmental Arts & Education is a not-for-profit Social Enterprise incorporated as a Community Interest Company. Rowanbank specialises in creative climate communication through site-specific performances,  innovative workshops, inspirational talks, teacher training and team building programmes. Our aim is to make outdoor learning and creativity, with their many benefits, accessible to all, and to use the arts as a catalyst for change and climate justice.

Our team building sessions are all held outdoors, with a focus on wellbeing, nature connection, creativity and collective climate action:

Sessions currently available to book are:

  • Wellbeing in a climate emergency - how to manage the complex emotions associated with climate change and biodiversity loss

This session has been carefully designed to support staff to work together as a team, inspiring a whole organisation approach to the climate emergency, with wellbeing at the core.

You will spend time participating in a variety of creative, fun and motivating outdoor activities. We will share ideas that build resilience, create a sense of calm and leave participants feeling empowered to work together to take collective action. There will be space and time to ask questions, enjoy seasonal foraged tea, sky gaze, network and share best practice with each other.

  • Woodland Wellbeing’ - a forest ‘spa' experience that includes hammocks, foraging, natural arts & crafts and storytelling.

  • 'Forest Circus' - which combines bushcraft and circus skills - to create the perfect team day out!

All profits generated from our team building sessions are used to subsidise our creative climate engagement programme - Positive Imaginings -  in low income communities across Scotland.
